Neptune Bank Robbery 10/9/2009
A male suspect robbed the Chase Bank on route 66 in Neptune Township. A large black handgun was shown to tellers as he requested money. He fled in a green taxi (passanger) where he was dropped off in Asbury Park and fled on foot. The suspect is still at large. The FBI, Monmouth County prosecutors office, Criminalistics Investigation Unit, and Neptune Police all responded to the scene.
